An Empty Legs or ferry flight occurs when a private jet returns to its base airport after passengers have disembarked at their destination, or must go and pick up a passenger at a different air harbor after completing a previous leg of the flight. This empty part of the flight is called the ferry flight or Empty-legs.
If you are flexible enough for choosing the date and time of your flight and are looking for a one-way flight, the Empty-legs option is probably the best choice. All offers of ferry flights have a start and end date and time, this is the period of time when a flight on an empty leg is valid and available for charter. Once the offer expires, the private jet in any case have to fly to the next destination in order to operate the next charter flight.
If the current Empty-legs offer doesn’t fully meet your travel needs but the time frame is suitable for your flight dates, don't be hesitate to contact a Private Travel Company support to see if there is an option to re-route the ferry flight. In some cases, the original Empty-legs flight destination may not be the destination you want, but it’s close enough to seamlessly re-route the business jet. By modifying your original flight plan slightly, you can still save up to 50% over a traditional SERENE AIR CHARTERS.
However, if you don’t have flexibility in time or you need a roundtrip flight, then it’s worth considering the service of a full-fledged aircraft charter.
